By June 26, 2014 May 28th, 2024 No Comments

Africair, Inc. and Tropical Aviation Distributors participated in the seventh Citation Special Olympics Airlift last week for the 2014 USA Games. The airlift began in 1985 and we are proudly participating in this exciting event for a second time.

The primary airport for the National Games is Trenton Mercer Airport (TTN) with a runway length of 6,006 feet. The games are held at several sites in and around Greater Princeton / Mercer County Area in New Jersey.

The TAD/Africair CJ3 delivered athletes on Saturday, June 14, 2014 and will return athletes on Saturday, June 21, 2014. During these two days, the total Citation airlift will transport over 800 athletes and their coaches from across the country and a Citation business jet will land or take off every two minutes for 10 hours.

We transported the Team Florida soccer team to the event and we want to send them a big congratulations on bringing home the silver! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of this event and take you there and back!

We look forward to participating again in the future. Please support the Team Florida soccer team. They are composed of volunteer mentor coaches and players to assist others. They are a fantastic group of people.
